We would randomly see each other at Shake Shack in New Carlisle and Kurt would always make a comment about me to our mutual friend Tiffany. Tiffany kept telling Kurt, “just ask Lindsey out.” Covid hit and puts a stop to all dates because we were all on lock down. On April 1st the lock down was lifted and Kurt asked me on multiple dates for about a month (he wouldn’t give in), and it finally happened. Our first date was on May 9, 2020 where he took me to the Tulip Festival in Holland, Michigan. He didn’t know at this time my love for flowers and this made for the perfect first date!! Now fast forward to Tuesday, February 14, 2023... We were having a family dinner with my parents, brother, sister-in-law, and nephew where he proposed!!! Of course I said yes!!! We are excited to get to spend the rest of our lives together and make many years of memories!!

It all started back in 2019 prior to Covid hitting........
We are delighted to have you join us to celebrate our wedding at the lovely Majestic Elegance, Costa Mujeres Resort on the weekend of November 5, 2024.
In preparation to celebrate with you, we've prepared this travel website to provide some initial travel details. It is best to read through everything on the website for pricing, room options, resort details and how to book including insurance add on.
Deposits of $200 per person will be accepted through June 15, 2024, and will serve as the initial RSVP. Deposits will not be accepted after June 15, 2024, so that we have adequate time to plan and coordinate the weekend's event details.

This picturesque beachfront resort gives you the option to have an adults-only experience. All rooms at the Majestic Elegance are furnished with the highest quality materials and include all the facilities you would expect in a luxury resort. Spacious rooms, king size bed or double size beds, open bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower. Independent room service door, smart TV, independent air conditioning control, telephone, free Wi-Fi, mini bar, safety deposit box, coffee machine, desk, iron, and ironing board. Most rooms have balconies with an outdoor Jacuzzi for two and a lounge bed.
We've reserved room categories in the Adult ONLY (Elegance Club) sections of the resort. The Elegance Club Adult ONLY section requires guests to be at 18 years + and offers Butler Service for an upgraded price. If you do NOT book the Elegance Club, you will NOT have access to that side of the resort. We do not recommend booking on the Family Side of the property. All guests of Elegance Club have access to the entire property. This is strictly enforced at the resort.

The wedding and all activities for guests throughout the weekend will be held at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres.
Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres is approximately 40 minutes from Cancun International Airport and inside a gated community with two check-points.
Resort space is blocked off for the wedding group and we have contracted pricing at group rates, which will not change as deposits are paid by June 15, 2024.
Important Booking Details
Rooms are blocked from October 31 thru November 6, 2024 - you may customize your entire experience and dates within this block.
However, you may choose to arrive earlier or extend your stay beyond the contracted dates if the resort is available. Additional room categories and different dates of travel may be available but are not blocked. Therefore, if you’d like to book a different room category or travel outside the contracted dates, email marciemuensterman@gmail.com ASAP to find out what is available to customize your stay.
Do please note, bed (king or double) requests are NOT guaranteed. Requests are fulfilled onsite on a first come, first serve basis dependent on available rooms upon arrival/at check-in either king or two double beds. Marcie CANNOT GUARANTEE your bedding requests. MOST rooms on the Elegance Club Adults Only side offer king beds.

Once your flight accommodations have been booked, please send Marcie a copy so she can arrange your hotel transfer from the airport to the resort upon arrival.

We've blocked three rooms in the Elegance Club section. The main differences are summarized below, and the room types are listed starting with the most affordable option and working up to the more luxury option:
- Junior Suite with Outdoor Jacuzzi: most affordable option, includes a jacuzzi!
- Majestic Junior Suite Swim Up with Outdoor Jacuzzi: includes private plunge pool or semi-
private plunge pool and swim-out access to the main pool area depending on location
- One Bedroom Suite: outdoor jacuzzi, separate bedroom and living area and can sleep up to
4 people
Reminder: If you would like to book a room type that is not listed/priced below, please let our travel advisor Marcie know, and she can work with the resort to see if your preferred room type is available to be added to our room block.
Prices are per person per night in USD and for the contract, a 4 night
minimum is required. Contract cannot drop below 10 rooms or rates will be
adjusted to prevailing rates at the time of the final payment.
Please note due to the cross over of months, there are slightly different
rates PRIOR to Nov. 1 so please see below for those split rates.

To finalize your booking, all guests in the room must be ready to place their deposit $200 per person + the cost of insurance which ranges in cost depending on how many nights you are going and what kind of insurance you choose. Marcie will provide those options to you. They are also listed if you read below. Marcie highly recommends the GPP+ for cash back option should you need to cancel; otherwise, it is a voucher, which means you have to spend it with Marcie within a year of the date you booked.

How to secure your reservation
Option 1: Group Protection Plan [GPP] Pre-Departure Waiver
The following benefits are provided by Vacation Express and are not insurance benefits.
Cancellations:
You can cancel for any reason a minimum of 24 hours prior to the original scheduled departure time as indicated in your travel documents. When you purchase the GPP, all applicable cancellation charges [does not include change fees or reduced deposit plan fees] as per your Terms and Conditions contract will be refunded in the form of Vacation Express future travel certificates, known as a GPP Voucher, less the GPP plan cost except for airline tickets issued as part of a contracted commercial air group, which may not have any residual value. All passengers in the same room MUST cancel to get the voucher. They do not do partial room refund vouchers. Travelers who purchased individual commercial airline tickets will receive the airline ticket numbers [or paper tickets] for future use with the airline and be advised of the ticket cost. Airline cancellation, change or rebooking fees may apply. A one-time VE change fee will be waived per person with GPP.
GPP Voucher Information:
Vouchers are issued in the original names of the passengers on the booking at the time of cancellation.
The vouchers are non-transferable and name changes will not be accepted.
Passengers have one year from original date of travel to rebook and travel using their voucher toward another package to any Vacation Express destination.
GPP can be repurchased when rebooking your vacation with the original GPP voucher, however your original voucher's expiration date will not change in the event you have to cancel your trip again.
Under no circumstances does the GPP allow for a full or partial cash refund, nor can it be extended.
Please check with your airline for their specific requirements.
Option 2: Group Protection Plan Plus [GPP+] Pre-Departure Waiver
The following benefits are provided by Vacation Express and are not insurance benefits.
Cancellations:
You may cancel your vacation for any reason 24 hours prior to departure and receive a refund for the full package price in the original form of payment less the GPP+ plan cost [does not include change fees or reduced deposit plan fees] as long as EVERYONE in the room cancels. If everyone in the room does NOT cancel, you also cannot cancel. It is ALL or nothing. All cancellations on GPP+ must be received by Vacation Express up to 24 hours prior to original scheduled departure time per your documents. A one-time VE change fee will be waived per person with GPP+.
Option 3: VPI is offered in most cases when other plans are not offered as an option.
This may include certain hotels, certain room categories, non-refundable hotel rates as well as other scenarios. If you cancel or interrupt your vacation due to an unforeseen, covered reason listed in your policy, benefits will reimburse up to 100% of the cost of your trip for unused, prepaid non-refundable travel arrangements. A one-time VE change fee will be waived per person with VPI.
